Black Americans were treated as inferior human beings in America to the extent that white believed they were meant to be their servant. Blacks were never allowed to ascend to power and were mostly ruled by white. The primary goal of the black power movement was for African Americans to gain stability by ending slavery and improving their economy. African Americans were treated as enslaved people. Whites owned plantations, and blacks had to work on the plantation under pressure and were not allowed to own one. The writer explains how other races in the colonies did not serve as enslaved people; only blacks were qualified. Other minority races had to endure harsh conditions and, if enslaved, were favored, unlike black Americans.
